SPECIAL CAMPAIGN: TELL PERU THAT LORI BERENSON MUST COME HOME!
Lori Berenson’s "trial" drags on in Perú. It is obvious to impartial observers that the judge is blatantly biased against Lori, and we assume she will be found "guilty" of a crime for which there is still no evidence of guilt. The Regional Coordinators--including GVCP members Mike Connelly and AHM—have initiated a campaign to remind Peruvian officials that this gross injustice is not acceptable. I have enclosed a copy of a sample letter to President Paniagua. Please modify it and send it to President Panaigua, with a copy to:
