THIS MONTH1S LETTER: Guantanamo Bay.  The
Friends Committee on National Legislation is running
a series called "Ways Out of U.S. Policy Quagmires."  
The topic for December 4th was Guantanamo Bay.  
The full message is on the FCNL website <www.fcnl.org>.  
To summarize, prisoners in Camp Delta are treated with
total contempt for U.S. and international law.  "The
Administration1s lawless policy, far from making the
U.S. more secure, encourages equally lawless
treatment of captured U.S. troops, and equally l
awless policies by other governments."  Write to
your Senators.  [U.S. Senate, Washington DC  20510]  
Tell them Camp Delta is a source of shame to our nation,
and that the Administration must bring Camp Delta under
the rule of law.

renew membership in GVCP.  Dues this year are $25.00
(more if possible, less if necessary).  We do not request
or expect dues from other organizations with which we
exchange newsletters, or from any of our overseas sister
peace organizations.  Student affiliates should fill out the
form, but need not pay dues.  Please pay your share.
