A presentation by Barbara de Leeuw, American Civil Liberties Union, Rochester, “The ‘Patriot Act’: Are Civil Liberties Obsolete?” Clearly, any peace activist has to wonder about how the "Patriot Act" might affect our rights of freedom of speech, assembly, and religion. These patriotic Senators deserve letters of thanks. Senators Schumer and Clinton both took the low road and voted to confirm.
