Attack Iraq? NO! Opposition to George W. Bush's arrogant plan to attack Iraq is still dominating peace and justice activity. Rep. Nancy Pelosi is the new House Minority Leader, and she has awesome qualifications. My suggestion is to concentrate this month on writing to Rep. Pelosi, urging her to oppose the attack on Iraq. This war could involve the deaths of thousands of combatants, and hundreds of thousands of civilians. It will further destabilize the region, and will cost billions of dollars. WRITE to: Rep. Nancy Pelosi, US House of Representatives, Washington DC 20515. Tel: (202) 225-4965. Fax: (202) 225-8259. E-mail: <sf.nancy@mail.house.gov>. Web: <www.house.gov/pelosi>. Send a copy of the letter to your Representative, Washington DC 20515.
