Mary Ann Smith:  We mourn the death of Founding Member Mary Ann Smith, who passed away suddenly on December 28th.  There will be a memorial reception for Mary Ann on Sunday, February 12th at 3:00 to 5:00 PM, at the Little Theatre Café, 240 East Avenue, Rochester.  Memorial donations to honor Mary Ann may be sent to GVCP.

?This Month’s Letters:  Write letters of support to activists and nuclear resisters in jail!  Prisoners often say that one of the worst aspects of imprisonment is the feeling that they have been forgotten.  You can help give these prisoners the courage to endure by writing a short personal letter telling them that you admire and respect them for what they have done.  [Adapted from The Nuclear Resister, PO Box 43383, Tucson AZ 85733  nukeresister@igc.org]
